OUR MISSION

The North Coast is home to the mystical spirit bear, a unique grizzly bear conservancy, the Hecate Glass Sponge Reef, Indigenous culture, and an abundance of ecological marine and land-based richness. Aiming to open the first ecology centre of its type in Northern BC, the North Coast Ecology Centre Society hopes to share the wonders of this area and provide education for conserving the local environment and its species based out of Prince Rupert.
